"My life Life is too dull". - Perhaps this is the only thing no Vidyapith student have ever told during his vidyapith life. Its not just a supposition. But actually a student's daily life in vidyapith is so eventful that he never feels bored. First, whoever you might be take a small glance at the daily routine of aVidyapith student.
The day starts with the long and disturbing Rising Bell. He
has to go to the bhajanhall in the early morning. After prayers,
in fact he has to run for the grounds for their morning exercises
(PT & DRILL). Then he takes a fast breakfast in the Dining
Hall. Cleaning his own rooms is his next job. Though it is not so
tough but it seems too hard to complete it before the Study bells
ring. He has to go to the study hall, start chanting with all the
boys and then sit down with his books. Two hours later, as the
study period ends, he goes back to the sadan (hostel) for bath
and dressing up for the school. At this time he has to take his
lunch (though not delicious but fantastic for health). Next he
goes to the assembly, held at the Sarada Mandir (senior school
building). And the school starts now. As the school continues the
students get two short breaks in between and a tiffin time when
the student is handed with a tiffin. After school
he virtually runs towards his hostel (no its not compulsory to
run) for dressing up in his playing dress. A brief tiffin is what
follows a run to the ground . He feels as if he is in heaven. He
have several choices to play. (Cricket, football, volleyball,
table-tennis, basketball are all available. The playground of
vidyapith is really noteworthy. About 20 playgrounds are there. A
gymnasium is present with Freedom fighter Khudiram's idol in the
front. a picture is given on the right.) He enjoys a great time
in the field. But as the day ends, the playover bell rings. He
goes back to the sadan. After refreshing himself, he dresses up
in Dhoti and Punjabi and goes to the Bhajan hall. Again its time
for his mind to concentrate. He sings few hymns with all the
other students and prays from the Lord for His blessings and
grace. After Prayer he returns to his study hall and sits with
full concentration at his books. Very little is left of the day
routine. He takes his dinner and enters his bed to have a good
nights sleep well earned by his day long works.
