Vidyapith's Mandir

The Mandir (or Bhajan hall) is the heart of Vidyapith. Almost every person of Vidyapith comes here atleast once a day. Every senior student (class7-10) has to come here for prayers every morning and night.

The students come here sharp in the morning and start chanting vedic hymns as well as Bhajan hallcommonplace Bengali holy songs. After two songs, a sanskrit sloka, known as pranam mantra is chanted. Next, everything goes silent and each and every boy makes his prayers to the Lord. In fresh mind they ask for the Holy Lord to prevail over their mind throughout the long day. After this a short paragraph is readout by one of the students from a holy book. The students, filled with Sri Ramakrishna's grace get out of the Bhajanhall one by one and starts their daily routine. Throughout the day as soon as anybody gets a bit leisure period; he comes to the mandir. Even if anyone feels mentally weak or disgusted he returns to the Mandir. And truly every honest prayer is answered by the lord himself. This is the reason why everybody gets peace of mind in this holy abode.

As the day passes by every student again assembles in the Bhajan hall. This time they are clad in Dhoti and Punjabi. They pray for their selfish acts if done during the day to be pardoned by the Lord and they repent as well as they ask for their peace of mind and soul so that they can be devoted to truthfulness and sincerity for the next day. And as the world is gradually immersed in darkness the boys go on chanting and thus creating an enchanted environment which spreads slowly and gradually through the darkness ""
